01Who we are

Kit & Capital is run by Shimnat Pty Ltd, registered in Australia with ABN 42 615 340 317, at PO Box 121, Underwood QLD 4119, Australia. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean that business, and "you" means the person using the site.

02What we offer

Kit & Capital shows which income-producing machines you can afford on your budget, what each one can make and sell, and an illustrative payback.

• Free: budget search, machine pages, figures, sliders, assumptions and sources. No account needed.
• Plans: a digital guide and working tool for one business and its machine options. The price depends on the price of its typical machine, the median of the options: standard $14.99 or 1 credit for a typical machine under $500; maker $29.99 or 2 credits from $500 to $2,000; studio $34.99 or 3 credits from $2,000 to $10,000; pro $59.99 or 5 credits from $10,000.
• Credit packs: 3 credits for $34.99, or 8 credits for $69. One credit is one standard plan. There's no subscription and no recurring charge.

Every plan can be bought on its own. All prices are in US dollars. Sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where the law requires it, and shown before you pay.

03Not financial advice

We show what's possible, not what you should do. Figures are illustrative examples based on stated assumptions, not financial advice. Check prices, costs and demand in your area before buying.

Each figure is worked out from assumptions shown next to it, with its source and how sure we are. Local demand is our estimate and the first thing to test. Your results depend on your prices, costs, time and customers. They can be lower than shown, including a loss.

You decide what to buy. We don't recommend buying any machine, and we aren't a financial, legal or tax adviser.

04Your account

We make an account for you when you buy, using your email. You sign in with a one-time link we email you. There's no password.

Anyone who can open your email can open your account, so keep it secure. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it. You must be 18 or older to buy.

05Paying

Payments are taken by Stripe on its own secure checkout page. We never see or store your full card number. Your plan opens, and any credits are added, once Stripe confirms the payment, and your receipt is emailed to you.

06Delivery

Everything we sell is digital, and nothing is shipped. Access opens on the site straight after payment, on the device you paid on. We also email a sign-in link so you can open it on other devices.

If access hasn't opened within an hour of paying, email us. We'll fix it or refund you in full.

07Credits

Credits are sold in packs and used to unlock plans: 1 credit for a standard plan, 2 for maker, 3 for studio and 5 for pro. When you buy a pack at checkout, the credits for that plan are spent straight away and the rest go to your balance.

Credits never expire. They have no cash value except as a refund of credits you haven't used, at the price you paid per credit. They can't be transferred or sold.

For 7 days after buying a single plan, you can turn it into a pack by paying the difference, and keep the remaining credits.

If we change plan or pack prices, credits you already hold keep unlocking plans at the credit costs above.

08Refunds

You can ask for a plan refund within 14 days of getting the plan, up to 3 per account. Your first refund of a plan you paid for comes back as cash; later ones come back as credits. A plan unlocked with credits gets its credits back. Unused credits can be refunded at any time. The details are on Refunds and cancelling, which forms part of these terms.

09Using plans

A plan is for your own use. You can print it and use it to run your business. Please don't resell, share or republish plans or their contents.

The site's text, figures, drawings and plans belong to us or the people we license them from.

10Affiliate and outside links

Some buy links on machine cards and machine pages are affiliate links, and say so beside them. See Disclosures. Stores and sellers we link to are run by others, under their own terms. We aren't responsible for their products, prices, delivery or returns.

11Plan updates

When machine prices, listings or costs change, we may update plans and their figures. Your ticks and your own numbers are kept.

12Our responsibility to you

We take care to get figures right, and we show where each comes from. But prices, costs and demand change, and we can't promise any result.

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for lost profits or business losses, or for the cost of machines, materials or anything else you buy because of the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under consumer law that can't legally be limited.

13Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. If a change affects something you've paid for, we'll email you before it applies. The date at the top shows the current version.

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Disputes go to the courts there, unless consumer law gives you the right to use the courts where you live.
